renaissance revivial parlor chairs 

Circa 1875. Superb set of five Renaissance Revival parlor chairs. Fresh from a fine Brooklyn brownstone that has graced the cover of Victorian Homes Magazine and been featured in several house tours, this pristine set has two large armchairs and three large side chairs. Expensively re-upholstered in their original style with button tufted backs and shirred two tone seats, around twenty years ago, beautifully detailed American black walnut and burl in fine original finish. No missing, broken or repaired wood. We have cleaned and polished the original finish so the patina is warm and rich. The upholstery has some wear but over-all shows beautifully. Extremely comfortable and high style, this rare and lovely set would grace any setting. Arm chairs 43 1/2" tall x 27" wide x 32" deep, side chairs 40" tall x 21" wide x 25" deep.
