HIGH GOTHIC CHAIR

Elegant Antique Rosewood Gothic Chair. All original, in extremely fine original condition we are pleased to offer, this delicate, circa 1870 side chair. Wonderfully detailed, solid rosewood, with no missing or replaced pieces, down to the tiny original brass casters on its front legs and original upholstery. We have lightly cleaned the original surface and reglued where possible with out removing the original upholstery. There are several "shrinkage cracks" which have been professionally restored at some time. This chair shows beautifully "as is" but should not be sat in without re-uphostery so that the seat can be re-glued. This chair would be a wonderful addition to any collection of 19th century Gothic rosewood furniture.  41" tall x 18 1/2" wide x 20 1/2" deep.    Price $795.00
