ART DECO MUSIC STANDS

Circa 1925.  Unusual, hi-style Art Deco music stands. Both of these stands are pure, stylish, Art Deco, as are the materials they are made of, chrome, wood and Bakelite. They are smaller than the usual sheet music stand, only standing 25 1/2" at full extension. We believe they could easily be made taller by replacing  the chrome threaded rod with a longer rod. In usable "as found" condition with lots of wear to the music holders and some fine pitting to the chrome bases. Re-chroming would put them in fine condition. Both stands are fully adjustable, up and down and the top portion tilts. Marked "economy" and patent dated 1925. One stand extends about a half inch taller then it's mate.  25 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" base diameter, 17 1/2" lowered.  Price $195.00 each or $375 for the pair.
