ART DECO pedestal

Circa 1930.  Fine, tall, Art Deco wood pedestal. This handsome, Classically styled pedestal is faux finished to look like burled maple. It has a long, tapered and fluted center section, and large fine turnings above and below. All original, with some loss to the original finish that seems to add to its vintage good looks. The top is slightly rectangular, measuring 10 1/4" x 10 3/4", the base is 11 1/4" square. The height is a stately 43 3/4". Very good condition over-all, it will support anything you can fit on top.  Price $ 775.
