OLD PARIS MANTEL VASES

Circa 1850.  Lovely pair of "Old Paris" mantel vases. These stunning, fan shaped vases are fine white European porcelain with a brilliant blue frame around skillfully hand painted pastoral scenes set in white ovals. The sides of each vase are flanked with white and gold applied leaves. The top of each vase is a jagged, naturalistic edge in white. The bases of the vases are white. The only marks on the vases are impressed numbers in the base. Fine original condition with some wear to the gilding. 8 1/2" tall x 7" wide x  4" deep.   Price $550.00 for the pair
