HAND PAINTED NIPPON FOOTED BOWL

Circa 1891-1921.   Exceptional, hand painted Nippon porcelain bowl. This luxurious, gold footed bowl, has some of the nicest decoration I have seen on Nippon porcelain. The inside of the bowl is beautifully filled with brightly colored flowers and trimmed with raised gilding and enameling. The outside of the bowl is a soft white with some small sprays of flowers. The bowl sits on three elegantly shaped gold feet. Very fine original condition with very minor wear to the gilding on the feet. Fully marked on bottom.   11" diameter x 5 1/2" tall.  Price  $295.00.
