RIDGEWAY AESTHETIC MOVEMENT PLATTER

Circa 1878.  Large English Aesthetic Movement serving platter. This handsome oval serving piece is brown "transfer ware" over an ivory back round and features an Asian Motif pattern titled "Yeddo". Fully marked for the fine Staffordshire maker, Ridgeway and date marked for 1878. The platter has no chips, cracks or repairs but does have some discoloration, which can be clearly seen in our photos. Good antique condition. 19 3/4" wide  x 15 3/4" across.  Price  $195.00.
