TABLES

Circa 1910. William and Mary Revival style dining table and chairs. Solid walnut, with a 54" diameter, three leaves and five matching chairs, four side and one with arms. This 17th century style has been updated in this estate fresh dining room set, the chairs are larger and more comfortable and the table is a modern height. The table has cabriole legs mounted on a square plinth and ending in turned feet. The legs have their original casters and are attached to curved stretchers, there are two turned center legs for stability when the table is extended. The chairs feature nice tall, shaped backs with carved crests and large square, "slip" seats which can be easily recovered. The legs of the chairs mirror the legs of the table. The entire set is in good original finish and is a warm, medium brown. Everything about this unusual set is inviting from it's fine proportions to its well cushioned and generous seating.  We have lightly cleaned and waxed the entire set. There are some scratches to the table top but it shows very well. 54" round diameter closed, 31 1/2" tall. Three 9" leaves, Four side chairs 43" tall x 18" wide x 17" deep, one arm chair 43" tall x 22" wide x 18" deep.  Price  $2800 for the set.
