Circa 1880.   American Centennial mahogany poster bed. Lovely matched crotch mahogany panels on the headboard and footboard.  Elegant, understated carvings on the four tall posts and top rails. Accepts a standard double (full size) mattress as is with the original rails, can easily be made into a queen without harming the bed.  Fine refinished condition.  Posts are all 72" tall, 54” tall (headboard) 44" tall (footboard) x 62” wide.  Price $ 4,200.
