Circa 1860.  Beautiful American Rococo bed in the manner of "Meeks".  This bed features elegant carvings, graceful lines and perfectly matched exotic walnut veneers. The original side rails are especially fine with wonderful carvings, moldings and matched veneers.  Finished on all sides so it could even "free Stand."  Even more unusual is it's generous interior proportions, which while not quite queen size, are almost so and might be worth using a custom mattress. .  The interior measurement is 58" wide x 78" long!  Fully restored to it's original beauty and sturdiness. Extra fine condition.  49” tall (headboard) 36" tall (footboard) x 62” wide.  Overall exterior length is 84".   Price $ 5700.
