ANTIQUE Bronzes & Statuary

Circa 1875.  19th Century, Classical Style French Bronze signed L. Pilet.  Very fine cast bronze of a Roman gentleman with a scroll in his hand.  He is seated on a carved bench and is clad in a long flowing toga and sandals. He has curly hair tied with a wreath which is probably a sign of nobility.  Very fine original condition and patina.  Handsome from every angle. 10 1/2 " tall x 10 3/4" wide x 4 1/2" deep.  Price $1500.
