Circa 1880.  Victorian American Aesthetic Movement parlor cabinet   Estate fresh from a fine Brooklyn brownstone, extra fine quality, elegant proportions, and exceptional original condition.  Rare to find such a quality piece with no broken, missing or replaced pieces and all original finish.  American black walnut, ebonized and gilded incised trim and hand painted doors featuring potted plants and butterflies.  Very reminiscent of the best New York cabinet makers of this Period. Fine, heavy original hardware and three original beveled mirrors.  All the surfaces including the inside of the drawer and inside cabinet retain their fine original finish.  An American Aesthetic Movement collector's dream.  59 1/2" wide x 18" deep x 66" tall.  Price $5,500.
