ANTIQUE chests,

commodes & vanities

Circa 1880. Rare, Pullman Railroad Car dual purpose Eastlake walnut commode with hidden fancy marble sink. Somebody thought of everything with this piece!  Slant front writing surface on what appears to be a typical commode of this period actually conceals a fancy marble sink with sea shell spigot. The wood back splash is hinged to cover a tin lined water reservoir.  Two small drawers with original brass hardware flank the sink.  The base is a double door cabinet with original lock and  key.  Good old finish.  Good condition. 40” high x 30" wide x 21" deep  Price $2,500.
