Antique hallstands & mirrors

Circa 1875.   Victorian "Fantasy" style hallstand in walnut.  A wonderful example of the Fantasy style this hall piece features a large spread-winged dragon hovering over the mirror top with it's tail curled around the right side.  Each side of the mirror has a large standing bird in what looks like reeds.  The center of the base stands out and is lined in tin for plants.  The base is carved with a fierce faced creature.  The metal clips holding the mirror are shaped like small claws.  Original beveled mirror in good condition.  Original finish. Very minor losses that will be restored.  Size,  99" tall x 35" wide x 14" deep.  Price $5800.
