Antique hallstands & mirrors

Circa 1875. 19th century Victorian dressing mirror in mahogany.  Very decorative and useful, with an adjustable mirror and two jewelry drawers.  The mirror is supported by graceful, nicely carved arms. The base has a shaped, serpentine front and two drawers with original glass knobs.  The base is made of highly figured crotch mahogany.  The arms and turned and carved feet are solid mahogany.  All original, some shrinkage cracks and veneer loss to the top surface which has been professionally restored.  Cleaned and French polished.   30" wide  x  35" tall  x 12"deepest (at base).  Price $1,400.
