Antique hallstands & mirrors

Circa 1860. 19th century Rococo style, Victorian over mantel mirror in American black walnut with gilded accents.  Truly elegant, this mirror has a deep ogee frame and  arched top, decorated with a large pierce carved crest in a true Rococo taste of fruits, nuts and leaves.  The bottom corners of the frame also have a graceful appliqué of leaves and grapes.  Original mirror and back.  All original finish and gilding in very fine original condition.  Very nice size, could go nicely over a sideboard or sofa as well as over a fire place.   58" wide  x  42" tall  x 4"deep (at base).  Price $3,800.
