ANTIQUE Lighting & sconces

Circa 1880.  American Aesthetic Movement chandelier.  One of the nicest four arm lights we have ever had.  Original combination copper and bright brass finish arms radiating off a central shaft decorated with a fine and colorful "Longwy" porcelain insert.  Each arm has a decorative piece of brass with prisms and a curled end connecting it to the main shaft.  Above these are two additional tiers of crystals and below a circle of longer prisms.  Lovely period gas shades with frosting, etching and ruffled tops complete this fine light.  Originally gas, professionally converted to electricity.  Complete with canopy.  Some replacement prisms.  Very fine condition.  Minimum length 39" (as photographed 58", can be adjusted to various lengths) x 36" width.    Price $3,600.
