19th century.   Fabulous, French, cast bronze eighteen arm, Rococo chandelier.  Originally lit by candles, this magnificent chandelier has been tastefully electrified.  Beautifully cast detail in the best Rococo tradition, grace every inch of this fine light.  Each arm is a delicately swirled branch leading to large floral candle cups and glass bobeche in a beaded glass pattern.  Three playful, winged Putti hover around the large bottom finial.  Everything about this chandelier suggests movement with no static elements.  Original rich patina.  Very fine  condition, missing one glass bobeche ( 17 original), hardly notable.  31 " overall length x 28" wide.  Price $8500.
