Circa 1898.   All original, combination gas-electric wall sconce.  Fresh from a local Brooklyn brownstone, this unusual single brass sconce features a single, swirled milk glass gas arm (up) in the form of a candle and bobeche.  The down facing arm is a simple electric fixture with a soft white satin glass shade.  The canopy is   round brass in a bell shape.  Perfect for the purist, only the socket and wiring is new.  No missing or broken parts, original patina.    Good overall condition.   13 1/2 " long x 4 1/2" wide x 7" deep.  Price $350.
