Circa 1850.   Fine early gilt brass Rococo, three candle Girandole.  This charming centerpiece candelabra, features a sleeping man and two children under a tree.  Each candle holder is surrounded by an ornate oval of cast open work in a floral motif and two sizes and designs of crystal pendants. The ornate brass work sits on a double stepped back marble base with brass trim, which retains an old owners label on the back.  Very good original condition.  Fine original patina.   17 " wide x  15 3/4" tall, the base is 7 3/4" wide by 3 1/2" deep.  Price $400.
