ANTIQUE Lighting & sconces

Circa 1890.  All original pair of large cast bronze mirrored candle sconces.  Each one of these finely cast sconces features an original oval beveled mirror framed by a ring of acanthus leaves which is in turn surrounded by an outer ring of open cast leaves.  The large top crest has more leaves with the head of a lion as the center of the medallion.  The bottom of the frame features more leaves with a flower center to which three candle arms with cast cups and bobeche are attached.  Good original condition with only a small (1/2") area of loss to the silver on the bevel of one mirror.  Original brass back and cast brass hanger.  Can be electrified for an extra charge.  Fine original patina.  20" tall x  11 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep.  Price $1,200 for the pair.
