Circa 1890.  Very high quality, Late Victorian, library light. This fine, all original , hanging kerosene chandelier has been professionally electrified, which is it's only departure from completely original condition. This hanging lamp features a fine warm patina on  it's heavy cast brass curlicue frame, chain and body. The brass kerosene font is signed "Matador". The 15" diameter shade is a beautiful celadon green with a milk glass interior and brass band around the lower rim. This light fixture also retains it's original matching canopy and frosted glass chimney. Very fine condition throughout.  Edison based socket, freshly re-wired for safety.   42"long, as shown, can be shortened up to 8", 20" wide.   Price $ 795.00
