Circa 1898.  Late Victorian cast iron three part fireplace insert/fireback. This is a charming example of American Victorian decorative architectural detail. The large center section features a flying Putti holding ribbons . Each smaller flanking section has a different dancing Putti swinging a length of cloth. The cast iron is painted gold with pink hi-lights.  This would be a wonderful addition to any fireplace renovation or used creatively elsewhere.   Center section is 29 3/4" tall x 25 1/4" wide. Each flanking section is 29 3/4" tall x 15 3/8" wide.  Price $600.00.
