Circa 1898. Late Victorian cast iron three part fireplace insert or fire-back. This is another nice example of American Victorian decorative architectural detail. All three sections have a repeating detail of a torch surrounded by leaves. The cast iron is in very old white paint. . This would be a wonderful addition to any fireplace renovation or used creatively elsewhere. Center section is 30" tall x 25 1/4" wide. Each flanking section is 30" tall x 12 1/4" wide.
