Circa 1880.  French, ebonized wood jewelry box.  Exceptionally nice bronze plaques decorate this simple wood box.  The large plaque on top is of three winged Putti, one of which is riding a lion.  The two smaller front plaques are Classically styled masks and leaves. The keyhole is also finely shaped bronze.  The interior has been relined in a fine, dark green velvet.  Good condition.  7" wide x 3 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" deep  Price $395.00
