Circa 1880.  19th century, American Victorian corner shelves in black walnut.  Unusual matched pair featuring very detailed, hand-carved stags with antlers, mounted under the shelves on nicely incised plaques.  The exterior sides of both shelves are carved and incised in a bold, wavy pattern.  Old finish in good condition, old repair to the antlers.  Each side is 10 1/2" long.  The overall height is 15" and the width across the font is 15".  Price $875 the pair.
