Circa 1885.  "Anglo-Japanesque" American Aesthetic Movement, easel.  Ebonized cherry, adjustable to fit different size paintings. This fine easel features a deeply incised fan motif on the top and shelf, rosette carvings on the bottom rail.  Nicely sized, fine, re-ebonized and polished condition.  70 1/2" tall x 26" wide.  Price $2800.
