ANTIQUE PAINTINGS & prints

Mid 19th century watercolor on paper, portrait of president John Tyler (1841-45).  Well executed in the "naive" or " primitive" style.  Ornate, gilt on gesso frame in good original condition.  Bright colors with no fading.  Portrait is in excellent original condition and framed under glass.   There is a raised seal in the upper left corner but the writing is illegible. The size, including the frame is  16 1/2" X 14 1/2", painting alone is 9" x 11".    Price $2,100.
