Circa 1870.  American School, oil on canvas, portrait of a handsome young women.  Unsigned, well painted, "as found" condition, no repairs, it would probably benefit from a cleaning.   Fine gilded period frame in very good condition.    21 3/4" wide x 25 3/4" high  overall, painting is 16" x 20" without frame.  Price $1,200.
