ANTIQUE SILVER & SILVER PLATE

Early 20th Century. Aesthetic Movement figural silver plate sugar bowl with twelve tea spoons.  Lovely "Rogers Silver Co." (New York) pedestal sugar bowl with  charming flower and vine banding and ornate handles on the bowl and a graceful bird in motion on the lid.  The bowl also features spaces for twelve teaspoons to hang off the sides to wonderful visual effect.  The spoons that came with it are also "Rogers", but date from around 1930.  This set is in very fine condition with no dings or repairs and was probably re-plated  in the past.  No monograms.  9 3/4" tall x 8" wide.    Price $225.
