ANTIQUE TABLES

Circa 1880.  Wonderful, hard to find, Victorian bead work parlor table/stand.  Hundreds of hours of hand-work must have gone into this large, hand beaded top which sits atop an exceptional American Aesthetic movement ebonized and gilded base.  The base consists of three chunky turned supports that form a "V" shape which meet in the middle at an incised and gilded central disc. On the other side, three identical legs form an inverted "V" ending in points.  Two large fancy finials, one on each side of the central disc, complete the base.  All original except for the new black fringe.  There is substantial bead loss to the top and the top is also somewhat out of round.  We have tried to picture it's condition as exactly as possible. The base is in excellent original condition and the table shows well.  23" x 22 1/4" slightly oval top x 26 1/2" tall.   Price $ 895.00
