Circa 1893-1900.  Exceptionally beautiful, pair of Louis Comfort Tiffany ruffled plates. These Favrile glass gold iridescent plates are all original, with no chips, cracks or flakes, although one plate has a pinhole in the center which I am sure is original to it's making. Both have gorgeous shimmering color, very difficult to capture in a photo. Both plates have L.C.T. acid etched on the backs which I believe is Tiffany's earliest mark on glass. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.  Fine original condition. 7" diameter.   Price  $675. for the pair.
