Circa 1890.  Fine hand painted Victorian biscuit jar or potpourri. Charming pastel colored flowers and leaves on a soft green and pink back round. The porcelain itself is an interesting shape with "blown out" leaves on the base and lid. The top edge of the cover is also decorated with a band of fine small stars in gold. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.  Fine original condition. Unmarked. 6 1/2" tall x 5" base diameter.   Price  $175.
