ANTIQUE China, Crystal &Glass
Circa 1892-1907. Limoge
fifteen piece berry set, with fourteen plates and a large rectangular serving
bowl. This beautifully decorated set of fine French
porcelain was probably used to serve fruit originally but could be used in many
different ways. The small plates would be perfect for any dessert or luncheon
sized salad plates. Each piece is decorated with graceful brushed gold ruffled edges
and delicate
sprays of realistic carnations on a soft white back round. Fully marked with
the Tressemann & Vogt decorating mark #9 (T&V) and the Lanternier mark #4
for the porcelain. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.
Very good original condition, with some wear to the gold trim. The serving bowl
is 9" wide x 15 1/2" long x 2" tall. The fourteen plates are 6" diameter.
Price for the 15 piece set $495. We also have available a set of five matching
large plates.
