Circa 1925.  Late Art Nouveau-Early Art Deco, pair of figural vases. Each one of these charming vases features a three dimensional figure, one a girl the other a boy. These are high quality pieces and beautifully done, with much attention to detail. The vases themselves are taupe colored with green accents and the figures are clothed in orange and green with brown hair and blue eyes. The girl is holding a basket of dark pink fruit and the boy a gold pitcher. The green stylized trees flanking the figures are very Art Nouveau in design but the over-all feeling seems Deco.  Very good original condition, with either what could be wear to the green "tree" top or a very shallow smooth flake, (not visible from the front) I cannot really tell.  Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 9 1/2" tall x 6" wide x 3 1/2" deep..  Un-marked.  Price  $375 for the pair.
