ANTIQUE PORCELAIN & CERAMICS

Circa 1891-1932.  Limoges hand painted pitcher or creamer. Extremely pretty late Victorian small pitcher decorated with Fall colored leaves on a white back round and with a Vaseline colored base and ear shaped handle. The spout and interior edge is fine brushed gold. Artist initialed on the base JMS. Also marked for the fine maker Jean Pouyat mark #5.  Excellent original condition although I would like to mention a small indentation on the base that I believe is original to the porcelain blank as it is under the glaze.  Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate.  5 3/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide x4" deep.  Price  $95.
