ANTIQUE China, Crystal &Glass

Circa 1896.  Beautiful, Victorian hand painted ruffled porcelain bowl. Exuberantly decorated with bright red strawberries, green leaves and lots of heavy gold trim on a soft green back round with antique pink undersides.  Initialed by the artist "I.C" and marked " Monbijou" R. C. for  the renowned Rosenthal China Company.  Good original condition, with minor wear to the gold trim. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 10" diameter x 2 1/4" tall.  Price  $185.
