Circa1958. Royal Copenhagen Parian plaques. This is a lovely set of Classical motif, Parian porcelain, bas-relief  plaques fresh from the wall of a fine Brooklyn home. Four plaques are 5 1/2 inches in diameter and one plaque is 6 inches in diameter. The art on the larger plaque is "Night" by the renowned Danish sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844). Each plaque is surrounded by a fine decorative ring of laurel leaves. Fully marked on the back of each plaque, Royal Copenhagen, Denmark and date marked for 1958. Also stamped on the back of each one is the word "eneret" which I believe was a factory mark denoting a piece of exceptional quality. Very good original condition.  Price  $375. The set of five.
