Circa 1870. Extra nice, large porcelain potpourri in a Gothic Taste. This un-marked, probably English, covered jar is beautifully shaded cream to soft peach in color, with an un-decorated main body that features a Gothic style pierced open work collar, detailed in a bright gold. The cover is a softly sloped shape with more of this fine, lacy open work in a Gothic Style, finished with an elaborate, large, deep peach and gold finial.  Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Very good condition. 7" tall" x 5 1/2" wide.  Price  $225.00
