Circa 1885. Fine Doulton Burslem set of nine salad or dessert plates. Lovely Late Victorian English hand painted plates, each one a different graceful flower on a cream colored back round, finished with a brushed gold border. This set is a wonderful example of  graceful  Victorian porcelain, produced by one of Britain's most well regarded makers. Delicate, hand painted flowers and greenery done in soft pastel shades, on a cream and blush shaded plate.  Fully marked and date marked for 1885.  Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. Eight plates are in fine original condition with no damage or repairs, one plate (last photo) has a tight hairline.  6 3/4" diameter.  Price for set of 9, eight perfect, $350.00
