Circa 1900. Fine Limoges fish plates. This lovely, hand-painted set of four large, slightly curved, fish plates feature a motif of oysters and shells often found on dinner ware of the late 19th and early 20th century that was intended for the formal fish course. These plates are done in soft pastel colors with a bright gold edge. Fully marked Limoges France. Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. All four plates are in fine original condition with no signs of actual use. 9 1/4" diameter. Price for set of 4, $385.00
