Circa 1878. Elegant Limoge serving dish. This long rectangular dish bears one of the earliest of the French porcelain maker, Haviland, mark's. The body is fine white porcelain decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. Each end has a small handle which is heavily gilded. There is also other gold detail around the rim and on one corner there are gold flowers and a long gold stem. Marked on the base H&Co. over L. Very fine original condition with wear only to the gold trim. Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. 12" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2" tall. Price $85.00
